Happy Thursday!
January seems to have been filled with many cold, rainy days. Usually on days like that, I like to bundle up in my coziest clothes (especially sweaters) and just hang out inside. Luckily for the last day or so, it's finally been warm and sunny, but we all know that won't last for long. So today I'm sharing not one, but two outfits that are perfect for all of those colder days that we're sure to have more of.
Monochromatic Black
One of my favorite looks is black everything. It's simple, chic, and makes an outfit feel so much more dressed up. I've been wearing this black jeans with faux fur vest get-up nonstop lately. The black jeans with a nice blouse is just professional enough for the workplace while the fur will have you happy hour ready!

Even though I love the all black look, I try to throw a pop of color or a pattern in somewhere in my outfit to break it up. I loved this Tory Burch purse with this outfit especially because of the two different types of fur! It definitely makes the outfit more playful.

And who could forget the details! I'm all about sparkles and simplicity, which means I tend to go to the same pieces of jewelry over and over. Jewelry is another easy place to add some dimension to an all-black look. This watch and gold/black bangle are both from kate spade and have been my everyday go-tos for over a year.
Just recently I added this Jenny Packham bangle to the mix! I love how well the colors go together and how the gems are asymmetrical.

Winter White
I still haven't quite gotten the head-to-toe winter whites look figured out yet, but I will gladly throw on a light colored sweater like this one! This cream-colored turtleneck has been making regular rotations in my wardrobe lately and for good reason - it's one of the most comfortable sweaters I've ever owned.

Turtleneck: same
Jeans: mine are from Marc Jacobs a few years ago, similar here (this brand is my new fave!)
Necklace: sold out online, similar here and here (also available in some francesca's boutiques!)
Purse: sold out marc by marc jacobs from a few years ago, similar from marc jacobs and tory burch

Here's hoping the weather doesn't get too much colder! I know I'd rather wear these outfits without a heavy coat over them ;)
