Hello hello!
I just returned home from one of the best trips of my life (sooo many details to share there, I visited six countries in ten days). But that will come later because that is not what this post is about!
Part of the vacation prep consisted of shopping for the perfect outfits to wear in some of these destinations. Before I went on this trip, I was spending weekends exploring cities in the United States, for most of which the dress code did not call for tropical prints.
Now normally I'm one to dress in neutral, understated tones but I have plenty of bright colors sitting in my closet that I was ready to put to good use, along with many items in various online shopping carts that I was ready to buy wear out in a sunny place.
Corfu, Greece. I found this viewpoint behind the Old Fortress and there was absolutely no one else around, making it the perfect spot to bask in the sunshine and enjoy the beautiful, serene views.
I actually picked this dress specifically for Greece when I bought it - I wanted the colors and print to match the surroundings 😂 and it worked! The dress is also super light weight and is a shift-style, so it's literally made for walking around in hot weather and sitting down for a big lunch without showing that you're full from all of the delicious food.
Paired with a matching light pink purse and my old, worn out Jacks, this was the perfect daytime outfit (along with some sunnies - it gets bright outside here!)

Bonus: check out this gorgeous view of the water! Check back later for a post on what to do and see in Corfu 😊
